A BRIEF HISTORY
Versatek Building Corp was established in Toronto Ontario in 1988. It's first project was the conversion of a 7000 square-foot historical building, the McMaster mansion, into seven condominium apartments plus the construction of six infill townhouses built over underground parking in the rear yard.
During the 90s the company specialized in commercial renovations primarily in the Toronto area. Versatek was a leader in converting century old industrial/warehouse buildings into modern office and loft living spaces.
In the mid 90s the company pioneered the use of insulated concrete forms for the construction of new buildings. This superior method of construction is both economical and highly energy efficient. Today Versatek continues to lead in ICF construction technology. Recently Versatek have built three major buildings in the Ottawa area using ICF construction and have several more planned.
With their superior knowledge of construction technology Versatek have been able to have some fun along the way. For example they built a whimsical concrete structure in the Bridlepath area for a prominent Toronto family. They also built the architecturally interesting Simple Alternatives structure in Mississauga.
The new millennium saw Versatek teaming up with Omni Construction out of Calgary, a company that had at that time built in excess of 50 hotels. Versatek quickly became an established hotel builder in Ontario. In 2008 they built their first retirement home and in 2012 they embarked on their first condominium building.
With a wealth of experience spanning more than 25 years, Versatek Building Corp is a versatile company with the knowledge and ability to get the job done.
Versatek Building Corp acts as both a general contractor and project manager.
